About the name:
"Eldorado" (Cabezas Cortadas)"

"Cabezas cortadas" is a Spanish-Brazilian film 1970, the genre fiction, whose direction and script are the filmmaker Glauber Rocha.

Barcelona, 1970. In this Classic Glauber Rocha, a fusion of a delusion despot Peronist in the land of General Franco, as the film was shot in Spain '70s Diaz, played by Francisco Rabal was the ruler of Eldorado, and live in a castle that is his mental confinement, and his delusions nostalgic dreams with the power that had that imaginary parents of Terra em Transe.

The story unfolds in this frenzy of oppression of Indians, workers and peasants that in Diaz illusion, intend to kill him, including a pastor, played by Pierre Clementi, who performs miracles around the castle. The Diaz madness grows in proportion as he realizes he no longer has any power, imprisoning a peasant, (Rosa Maria Penna), which for him is the symbol of purity.

The title "Cabezas cortadas" makes reference to Greek thought symbolized by its statues and head are creating all of reason, madness, arts, achievements. The severed head is a Greek statue.
